Breakfast or snack.......

I am loving smoothies lately (well for some time now) and I just thought I would share two that are quite yummy.....

The first one I found on pinterest but I changed it a little bit.

Strawberry and Banana Oatmeal Smoothie


1/4 cup oatmeal
1 frozen or room temperature banana
5 or so frozen or room temperature strawberries
1/4 - 1/2 cup greek yogurt (optional)
milk, water, or apple juice
ice 


1. put the oatmeal in first to make sure the oatmeal becomes a powder
2. add the fruit, yogurt, and ice
3. then add either your milk, water or apple juice and blend it up!


Chocolate Banana Peanut Butter Smoothie 


1 to 2 tablespoon of peanut butter
cocoa, hot chocolate packet, or nesquik
1 frozen or room temperature banana
milk
oatmeal(optional)
ice


1.  if you want to add oatmeal to get a little more fiber go for it but make sure to blend it first
2. then add the rest of the ingredients.  I usually use nesquik because I like it the best but you could use a hot cocoa packet or cocoa powder.  If you use cocoa you may want to add a little sugar to sweeten it up.  
3. lastly add the milk  and blend 


And there you go!
